Now that the long weekend in Singapore is just passed, we are stepping up into gear to get all your packages out today. It was a whopping bummer crop of orders that came in during the break and we are doing our best to ensure all your orders are at the post office (and on their way to you!) by the end of the day.
We are pretty excited! We have had a flurry of international friends stopping by and just thinking about where these packages are going is giving us an adrenaline high.

Another part of my supply order has come (the way I’ve been stalking the letterbox, I think the postman is scared of me…) and have been put to good use. I’m really happy with the results and am still oohing and ahhing over them. This small collection features a selection of 3 rings (adjustable). All fitted with pretty cameos (some vintage).

I’ve finally released my hoarded vintage cameo. It is really limited edition and I doubt I would be bringing more of this design in. I’m waiting for a few more to come (stalk letterbox) and hopefully will have time ready for viewing by next week. After the CNY holidays of course.

Oh, before I forget… because Monday and Tuesday are public holidays here in Singapore, all orders that come in over the weekend will only ship out 28th January. We apologise for the delay but there’s nothing we can do about it. We’d be busy visiting relatives though! So erhmm, unless by some stroke of luck you happen to be in a relative’s house, there is precious little I can do to get your items out.

The second of my three overseas packages arrived today. And along with it finally came the brass settings for this beautiful cameo here. A vintage piece from Germany, the single large bloom never faded over time. In fact, I personally feel it aged well and retained all of its original beauty.
I can’t wait to use this piece soon. Probably in a simple necklace because, really, something like this, does not need much enhancing.
On a gold earring streak right this moment… And it seems, so are many of you. I guess all the hunting for new clothes for CNY (next Monday! *gasp*) has gotten to me. But you’d agree, these are rather pretty.

I managed to get my hands on these dainty carved Jade flowers and decided to keep them simple and ‘clean’ for a lovely feminine look. So I accented the centres with garnet rondelles and strung the bloom on a gold plated chain. Chain closes with a flower design toggle to carry the theme through, right to the end.
Perfect for Chinese New Year I’d say.

I just realised with a start that the Lunar New Year is less than 2 weeks away. Wait. Just 12 days away. I am not ready!!! I’ve only gotten my new notes changed for the traditional red packets. That’s it. It feels quiet and rushed in a way. Yes, all at the same time.
*sigh* I got to get a move on it. Meantime, here’s a pair of earrings I did a couple of days ago and thought would be apt for the season. At least I got my accessories all settled!
I usually take my pictures in the morning, before Jayden wakes up. These days, however, I either wake up later and miss the window of opportunity (literally!) or have nothing to show to photograph at that point in time.
I have, thankfully, discovered another window of opportunity in the evening, before the sun sets, to photograph the wares I sell. And I must say, it works out fine. Sometimes, if I am really lucky, Jayden would be napping and I can photograph in peace.
Today’s crowning glory would have to be this piece, Of White Fluffy Clouds. I am most pleased with the way it turned out and hope it would sell soon. A lovely combination, mimicing nature’s sky colours, this pair featuring pale baby blue amazonite rondelles against lustrous pearls is sure to charm many.
A touch of colour, a dose of fun. Just in time for the weekend! It is but 2 weeks till Chinese New Year. Are you ready for it? I’m not. 
It seems increasingly difficult to find nice clothes! I’m sure I’d be able to accessorise. It is the clothes that’s my problem.

Last year, during the year end trip, I took a couple of days off to hunt for pearls. I managed to get my hands on two very precious (to me at least!) strands and here’s a selection of those that have been turned into beautiful earrings. There aren’t that many pearls left so if any catches your eye, my advice is to just GRAB THEM. Because, really, once they are gone, they’re gone.

I don’t quite know what possessed me to make this pair. It was sure a whole lot of work. And then some. I’ve a few variations in this collection. All characterised by the cascade of Swarovski bicones at the top. It makes for a really nice look. I’ve sold a few already. Yes, even before I actually loaded them on Flickr, blog or store.
I’ve hoarded the rest for some time now, and am almost sure that I satisfied my ‘craving’ to make such pieces. For a few months at least. They are time consuming, eye-straining and kind of use a lot of materials to give them the ‘volume’. I’d be releasing them soon or if you can’t wait, just drop me a mail. They come topped upon freshwater pearls or even more Swarovski crystals. You’d see!

Still in the midst of editing some new items. They may (or may not!) make it in store today. But there was a small shoppe update over the weekend so do hop on over to take a look. The madness of the bloody fall has more or less passed. A lingering blister but that is still manageable. Orders, email correspondence have resumed their normal speed and we should be able to press on forward. Fashionably of course. Some time in December I received a customisation request from a customer to make a set of 6 bracelets for her bridesmaids (and herself). Something to commemorate her ROM, to thank her dear friends for their help, to celebrate their friendship and to remember her special day (of course).
And this is the result of the email discussions we had. 6 silver bracelets, accented with starfish charm and accompanied by a lil pearl at the side. They have named it ‘Patrick’ (LOL), after Spongebob’s best friend.
