Pearls have gotten into most people’s minds for the wrong reason. Stereotypically thought as ‘your mother’s pearls’ they can be part of today’s fashion in the sweetest of ways.

Sweet Daisies :: The first hint of spring. A dainty daisy pearl is strung on 925 silver earhooks for a soft, delicate look. Pearl daisies are sweet and dainty with just a hint of colour. They are petite, measuring in at a 1cm drop. All findings used are 925 silver.

We took a short break over the last few days to rest and recover. Some silly bug was getting us down. And we are back. Not a 100% recovered but ready to take on the new week with these yummy glittering earrings!

First up, watch for our restock of Glistening Sunshine. She’s back for a limited run again so hurry and catch her before she’s gone for good this time round. But even if she didn’t steal your heart, perhaps this series of three heart-filled earrings did.

Some eye candy

Fresh out of the oven, there are 3 pieces of these altogether. I’m really tempted to keep all 3 for myself (and to give away to good friends). Ok, I might just keep one. This will be released for sale at SGD 65. A really really beautiful piece, this works well for brides on their special day. Or any special occasion or really, when you feel like dressing up. A faceted citrine takes centrestage on the longer strand whilst a delicately carved flower takes the focus of the other. Different yet totally complementary. Note that these two necklace strands are joined. Shorter length is approximately 16 inches long.

On An Olive Branch is a different take on Somewhere In Time. A delicate leaf motif tops the olive green pearl teardrop, for a dainty elegant finish. Exclusively ONE pair only. Retails at SGD 28.

We know that sometimes, you just got to shop on a budget. Heck, everyone does. Just a matter of whether the budget is BIG or small. So we added a new feature in store. Now you can shop according to price range, below SGD 20, below SGD 30 or if the sky’s the limit, go Luxe Deluxe!

Other changes we have made in store include deleting all the old, sold out items. So no more odd errors about ‘no such product’. If you miss them, the full collection of Sparkle Thots’ jewelry is still showcased here.

Lastly for all who are waiting for new items, erhmm, time is quite tight right at the moment. Believe me, I have been trying to set aside time to bead new stock. But I guess updates will be erratic until the Christmas period rolls past us. By the way, the last day for all our international friends to get their orders in is 5th December. So hurry, surely you won’t want to be late!

One of the first few pieces I did when I returned from my break, I somehow forgot to list it. It is a real beauty. I have selected from the mixed coloured strand a pair of light hued pearls to do up this pair of earrings. A lovely drop if I may add.

(Funny given my craze over all things pink that I actually took so LONG to do up and all pink pair of earrings. :D)

This pair made of silver plated findings features a cluster of pink czech glass rondelles strung from round loops. Loops have a heart ‘finish’, a sweet accent to this girly pink pair. Rondelles have a translucent look that lets light through in a really beautiful way.

Things have been moving a little slowly (but steadily!) since we returned from the short holiday. We are back in the swing of things and are enjoying the breather to create. Yes, we still pack orders off for shipping and answer all the mails, but there is time to spend on the little joker. And I think he is happy for that.

When Autumn Leaves Fall has been sold, and here are two more items fresh out of the oven. I love the direction the new range has taken. Very ‘me’, very Sparkle Thots. Everything is coming together now… even the packaging. You’d see!

When Autumn Leaves Fall

The weather is all gloomy here today. Heavy downpours the whole morning. The leaves are taking a beating and the ‘weaker’ ones have fallen. This pair of earrings has a somewhat golden tinge, almost as if mimicking nature in the mid of autumn.

The czech glass leaves have a gold foil kind of glistening finish within and when topped by Swarovski faceted rondelles, make a perfect match. Measures approximately 2 cm in drop excluding earhooks.

Tis the Season

A special limited edition collection. All charms come as a pair and all exclusively one each except for Gingerbread Man. More details shortly.

I ordered these before I left on the holiday and came back to find them sitting prettily in my mailbox. Each charm has exquisite plating and diamante studs for a charming addition to your wardrobe. Charms measure an approximate drop of 1.5cm each and dangle off gold plated earhooks. I hope to load them in store soon but leave a comment to reserve if you are anxious to get your hands on them. Each pair retails at SGD 25.

home again!

After a week out, we are back and are adjusting to the swing of things again. We are busy clearing the mountain load of laundry, tidying things up at home, restocking the fridge and cuddling the boy. Work on orders will resume tomorrow. And hopefully, so will the launch of new items.
