Lariats can be really versatile. It depends a whole lot on how you wear them. Tie them long, tie them short, wear them at centre or by the side, and you get varying looks. Try and see what suits you best. Then again, it may change as the weather changes.
Take this piece for example… (all 3 images feature the exact SAME lariat necklace) …
Tied at almost equal lengths, down in half…
… with one length much longer than the other ..
and with the necklace by the side.

This particular strand measures an approximate 20 inches from end to end. At the absolute ends are clusters of faceted moonstone rondelles in white. Linking them to the chains are smooth kyanite rondelles with tiny flecks of black. A lovely piece in my opinion. And quite reflective of the weather we have. I guess you can say this was inspired by nature?
