like an old english Rose -- SOLD --

Tensha beads are really beautiful, even by themselves they command attention and really draw the eyes of the beholder towards it.

I have a selection of tensha beads that I have bought but just could not bear to use for fear of spoiling the sweet beauty they hold from within. I finally took the courage to do a necklace with this large tensha bead...

In itself, it is a frosted finishing with the drawing of the old english rose on both sides. To me, it evokes memories of walking in large gardens, the likes of Butchart Gardens in Vancouver or New Zealand. Places where roses just abound under the tender loving care of the gardeners.

This particular necklace is made with pairing the tensha bead with faux bronze-gold pearls and subdued black beads.

Like a rose in bloom, this particular piece would do well adorning your neck as you wine and dine in the pleasure of the city. Simple, yet elegant... Well suited for the everchanging world of fashion.

The tensha bead is absolutely beautiful. I adore the intricate painting.

Hope you'll be working with more tensha beads in your creations in the near future! Maybe on earrings? ;)
