The Blushing Bride

The Blushing Bride

As I was packing up for the day, I managed to squeeze in a final pair of earrings! And I am very pleased with it. If you haven’t already known by now, I’m easily influenced by all things wedding. To me, all the notions of romance and femininism come out to play. The lushness factor is upped and everything is beautiful.

This pair, The Blushing Bride, is a petite drop feature rhodium plated charms that are encrusted with diamante for the added sparkle. And to round it off, a tear drop pearl. Elegant and full of poise. Only two pairs available… I wonder if any would, be worn by a blushing bride on her big day!

*swoon*

The shop has been restocked! And this is my favourite piece. A decidedly feminine beauty, it is choc-ful of semi-precious materials. Exclusive… only ONE piece available.

*swoon*

Elizabeth, available now in store

Yes, I know the shop front has been looking a little quiet these days but things have changed. I’ve been sick and busy with personal stuff, not to mention packing orders and private sales. So there was a delay but its all ok now. I’ve been tinkering around with wirewrapping and a number of the new pieces feature it. Oddly enough, they are mainly necklaces but they are really gorgeous stuff.

This range is made largely with amazing semi-precious stones and have an understated luxe quality about them. Many are available only in limited quantities and are quite exclusive. Great for Christmas presents. Shop early for Christmas! Before the mad mad rush!

green with envy

Faceted Prasiolite Marquis Briolettes

Yummy! I had this for a while, maybe a month (?!) but just could not get the right photo. In the end, I gave up and set it aside. Now I broke into the stash to do up this piece.

One of a kind.

This piece features a single prasiolite drop with wire detailing handwrapped to turn it into a pendant. Total drop is approximately 2 cm long. Gold plated chain is approximately 16 inches long and closes with a lobster clasp. Faceting and reflection of light on this is really beautiful. :)

And now, to figure out what else to do with the rest of the loot!

This piece is NOT yet listed in store but will be shortly. Hopefully by the end of today. Meantime, if you are interested, do drop me an email.

what's up?

I quite like the front page of the shop right now. There’s a quiet mood to it, like it is waiting for something to happen. Truthfully, a number of things are going on at the backend. There have been various changes to the frontpage because new stocks get added and others are sold out.

There are a few custom orders to work on and it is keeping me from listing new items. Soon perhaps? Meantime, I have decided to make the SALE section permanent. There will be a selection on sale all the time. Surely that is music to your ears?

Lemon Tango

Lemon quartz and pearls. A duo, with a match made in heaven.

The necklaces are separate, allowing you the flexibility to layer them as is, with some other necklace in your collection or to wear singly. The choice is yours.

Lemon quartz is stranded on an approximately 16 inch long chain whilst the pearl bead is strung on a 15 inch choker length chain. Both close with lobster clasp.

Casual Fridays :: Matchmade!

A couple of sms-es came in late last night… little bundles of joy had arrived to a couple of our friends (erhmm, two couples, two babies!) and it got me in the mood to bead. So out came this pair trio of earrings.

Something different eh? I have not done mismatched earrings for the longest time and all a sudden, out come 4 sets. Do hop on over to the Shop to see what’s new.

And here’s a bumper set of FOUR studs. Retails at SGD 35 for the full set. But if you find it one too many (is that ever possible?), contact me and I’d work out a different price based on what you want.

So, have yourself a great friday! :D

aloha!

Only 2 in stock. :) I love them. So hurry before I change my mind and decide to keep them for myself.

and… look, a return to amazonite! yes, I have been adding to the treasure chest. I’m preparing a new collection right now. Things are going a little slow because Jayden is getting awfully clingy these days. I’m waiting for a good breather to drool over my stash. And design something to match their good looks.

Hangs at about 2cm drop excluding earhoops.

Not yet loaded in store. Leave a comment to reserve if you cannot wait. Retails at SGD 24.

in love with briolettes

Faceted briolettes are always nice and sparkly. Even if they are smoky quartz. Aren’t these lovely?!

Slightly imperfect in the way the holes are cut, the faceting is gorgeous. I love the way the light rays bend as they hit the briolette. Full of sparkle and shine. And in a classic colour combination too. Gold and brown / black. You can’t go wrong with it. In fact, it will look fabulous teamed up with the little black dress.

First piece features a wirewrapped briolette strung on a 17 inch chain, with a pendant drop of 1 inch. Second piece is a briolette strung directly on a 18 inch chain, with a pendant drop of 2cm. Both pieces close with a lobster clasp accented with a Swarovski bicone. Each retails at SGD 28. Please note that both hang a little off centre due to the hole. If fussy, do not buy.

a stunning looker

Lariats can be really versatile. It depends a whole lot on how you wear them. Tie them long, tie them short, wear them at centre or by the side, and you get varying looks. Try and see what suits you best. Then again, it may change as the weather changes.

Take this piece for example… (all 3 images feature the exact SAME lariat necklace) …

Tied at almost equal lengths, down in half…

… with one length much longer than the other ..

and with the necklace by the side.

Yummy really. Wear your lariats whilst looking in the mirror and don’t be afraid to experiment. What’s the worst that could happen?

This particular strand measures an approximate 20 inches from end to end. At the absolute ends are clusters of faceted moonstone rondelles in white. Linking them to the chains are smooth kyanite rondelles with tiny flecks of black. A lovely piece in my opinion. And quite reflective of the weather we have. I guess you can say this was inspired by nature? :)

In shop soon. Limited quantities as usual.

Casual Fridays

She was tired of jumping through hoops all day so she figured, she might as well spice things up. A feminine touch might just do the trick… And make the last few hours fly on by.

The weekend’s in sight! Woohoo! For the students, it isn’t so great because it means the one week break is almost up. For the rest slogging in the offices, some eye candy to get you through the last few hours of work.

A Rainbow Connection, small hoops of multicoloured cat’s eye are always great. They are cheerful and a reminder to look for the rainbow after the rainstorm.

A Touch Of Opulence, dress up a little because Friday nights are time out for fun. Czech glass beads with a metallic finishing are staple. And in a rosy pink kind of hue for the girly-girl you are.

Lavender Fields Forever, Needing a rest? Send subtle messages to those around you and yourself… Add a touch of lavender essential oils and relax… Lavender czech glass beads on the hoop. In the softest shades possible. Ahhh…

Each pair retails at $15 and for a limited time period, get all three for $42.

admiring the moon

...stone. Cheesy I know but at 1.30am, my brain could only shout out "SNEAK PEEKS!" as an alternative. Oh well.

Anyhow... it is a new month (4 days in to be precise) and I have gotten a fresh batch of yummy gem-mies as a way of saying 'hurrah for surviving August'. And I have gotten busy with them too.

So I started with this strand of faceted moonstone rondelles ...

and turned them into this pretty straight row (pun intended) ...

and this other lariat that you already had a sneak peek of ...

as well as this one paired with last month's peach aventurine. :)

Nice? I sure hope you'd think so too! Because I love them all to bits. I'd load them soon I promise. Advance orders welcomed too!

ps: funny how I did so many necklaces. I was intending for September to be a earring fest... Hmm.

pss: you do know that the flickr photostream is always the first to be updated with yummy goodies right? Then either the blog or the shop. Depending on the mood :D

Friendship Garden

In friendship’s fragrant garden,
There are flowers of every hue.
Each with its own fair beauty
And its gift of joy for you.
Friendship’s Garden

Lucite flowers in three lovely shades are paired with dainty Swarovski pearls and dangle off gold plated kidney earhooks in a delightful cluster.

And just for today… in an effort to chase away the silly rainy day blues I am having, these earrings retail at $15 each.
