Spring fields... a bracelet featuring Swarovski crystals of complementary shades (somehow one of them turns out so blue, its more greenish. all other colours true to form), Czech glass leaves and rhodium plated filagree.

Silver finish with a toggle closure.

Another pair has "bloomed"... Sweet Sanctuary features lovely pink flowers complete with dainty leaves paired with silver filagree and complementary Swarovski crystals.

Dainty silver bows are matched with faux pearls and Swarovski crystals to create this feminine look. Lighthearted and quite a charmer.

Ocean Flowers $22

The light blue Czech glass beads remind me of peaceful, tranquil ocean waters. I miss those clear blue waters that are so hard to find in Singapore. You got to head up to Malaysia to get to a beach remotely close to those you see in picture perfect postcards...

Here, I team a single bloom with the Czech glass and Swarovski pearls to create a serene piece that evokes memories of a day out by the beach. I am thinking this is wearable to a wedding by the beach... something that suits the theme of something new and something blue... yet does not steal the thunder from the bride.

Clovers -- SOLD --

Four leaf clovers are thought to represent good luck. I think of them as part of the Care Bears. :P In recent years, both Care Bears and Four Leaf Clovers accessories have made a comeback and this is my take on it.

A simple bracelet with Czech glass beads, silver hoops and charming four leaf clover. All set in silver tones and closed with a toggle clasp.

Summer Waltz -- SOLD --

Another flowery piece! This time its not roses but something else. A light pastel pink flower is the central focal point of this piece and is further enhanced with Swarovski crystals and a short dangle of silver chains.

Sweet Blooms -- SOLD --

Another bracelet born of the era of romanticism. Rose buds are flanked by Swarovski pearls, Czech glass to create a centrepiece that is "sweet sixteen". Gold hoops and chains finish up the rest of the bracelet which closes with a lobster clasp.

On Pointed Toes -- SOLD --

Many may not know this but the clumsy oaf *me* used to take ballet lessons under the tutelage of a Mrs Simons. I think I was a disgrace to her. All imagery of dainty women dancing on pointed toes in soft ballet shoes with a tutu to boot... was probably destroyed by me.

Still, I could not help myself but reach for the ballerina charm. Perhaps there is this part of me that wishes for a different ending to the lessons I had. I have forgotten all the lessons within the year of dropping out from the classes. And that happened a good many years ago in Primary School.

This necklace features a dainty ballerina and a row of gold toned filagree topped with Swarovski crystals.

Butchart Gardens -- SOLD --

Romanticism at its peak! Or so I feel. I remember years ago in 2003 (heh, ok, not THAT long ago), the then boyfriend and I made a trip to Canada. We stopped by Victoria and went to Butchart Gardens. It was GORGEOUS.

I am someone hopelessly in love with roses and the sprawling landscaped gardens of the place was just a wonderland for me. Here, I try and re-create the feeling I had as I wandered around the grounds. It would be perfect for weddings and photoshoots but none were allowed.

Fresh Lime -- SOLD --

Cloisonne beads have once again found their way into my bead box. I was staring quite a while at this particular pair before deciding that green should be the overall hue of any piece featuring them beads.

So Fresh Lime features white circular discs of cloisonne beads, Swarovski crystals and Czech glass. An interesting mix I might add.

Somewhat different yet not over the top.

The Lovebirds -- SOLD --

Valentine's Day 07 may be over but there is always next year and the year after to look forward to! In any case, you do not need a publicly endorsed / recognised day to get exhorbitantly priced items aimed to cash in on the mood.

The Lovebirds focuses on a pair of lovely charms featuring birds involved in a peck, encased in a heart. This is enhanced with Swarovski pearls and a lil filagree set in gold tones.

Light, summery feel... for all the special moments.

Chinese New Year is fast approaching. While this pair may or may not make it to its new owner in time for the celebrations, there is no denying that it is festive and cheerful all at once.

Features gold chains, hoops, Swarovski crystals and tensha beads with a light hearted design of blooms.

Golden Sparkles -- SOLD --

Golden sparkles... A touch of class, a tint of colour, a hint of playfulness. This pair of earrings features a lovely mix of glass beads (forgot the specific name!), Swarovski pearls and butterflies all set in gold.

Just the right amount of elegance.

Ruby Red -- SOLD --

After beading this pair up, I realised it matches very well with a dress "co-owned" by mum and me... Actually, it matches with the accessories set we had gotten previously from Chomel. So of course we kept a pair of this earrings ourselves. :) And we are sharing this design!

Simply because the vibrant red goes so well with a lot of dresses out there. And because, there can never be enough accessories.

A fun piece... just for fun. Saw this pair of bears sitting on the shelves the other day and could not resist. Nevermind that it is a simple concept. The simplest things have a tendency to tug at the heart strings!

Slightly difficult to bead up due to the tight squeeze but that aside, a delightful one to make. I am tempted to keep this pair for myself!

One sweet pair of light pink roses for good measure. Unlike real blooms, these will never fade. Paired with Swarovski crystals to create a delicate summer look that never goes out of style.

Love Actually...

Been so caught up with work that I did not realise that Feb 14 was coming around so fast. Not to mention the lunar new year either. Managed to squeeze in some time to bead especially when I got my hands on some of these cute lil silver LOVE beads. They are limited... so be sure to grab them while you can. I am not remaking these!

Anyway, while Valentine's Day is coming round and there is just so much hype in the papers regarding gift giving, I frankly would think it better if we all took a step back and spend all 365 days a year loving those around us. No, not that I am wanting you to buy gifts all year round (that would be nice though!), but really to remember the essence of love.

Love Actually... is...
about loving the person for who he or she is. :) Not the gift.
