A simple cousin from the "I Lurve..." series of bracelets specially for someone who has something to say, but does not want to say it too loud. All wrapped up with love, whispered for a single person to hear.Features the same LOVE charm.
Here in Singapore there is a "sudden" attention being paid to the AIDS campaign. This bracelet, part of the "I Lurve..." collection takes on the fiery colours with gusto. While not affilated with the international campaign, the colours make a statement. Bold and beautiful... yet subtle and delicate. The wearer is, quite simply, Woman.
A return to basics. If you have been tracking Bead Haven since its launch in April 06 (or snooping round the archives...), you would know that this hobby started out with an infatuation for Swarovski crystals.
I am into simplicity these days... I personally feel the simple look has so much to offer. It dresses up your tops yet does not distract. Complimentary and not overpowering. This pendant is strung on a simple chain and hangs downwards.
The heart of Beauty... lies within and cannot be seen with the naked eye. Instead, you sense it with your being. Neither is it rational. :)
These cloisonne beads remind me of small ladybugs... heh. I think its the pairing of green and red that brings them to mind. Still, I have chosen to do up the earrings with jet black Swarovski crystals, gold toned hoops and a small tassel chain.
Freedom... tranquility. The silhouette of the dove (or is it seagull?) in flight with wings spread open just brings to my mind the idea of freedom. Freedom to roam the friendly skies.
Roses are blooming all over at Bead Haven... :) This particular one comes up in delicate shades of lavender, softened with white petals all around. Set against a gold toned piece and adorned with yet more lavender / lilac and just that bit of clear... Swarovski crystals, it spells romance. Soft and gentle.
Sometimes you just need a simple piece to dress up the top. Nothing too extravagant to fight with the rest of your ensemble. Nothing too loud to distract you from your date.
Using similar cloisonne pieces as Dainty Chic, Dynasty reminds me of spring in China. The cloisonne beads bring to mind the festive holiday of Chinese New Year with their royal colour and delightful prints of flowers.
A cool blue mix of Czech glass beads form this pair of earrings. Before the coming of spring is the ending of winter. While many of us in Singapore have not had a first hand experience with winter (myself included!), I dream it to be cold days with fresh fallen snow. Somehow the tinge of blue comes to mind.
